It happened, just like I said yesturday, when @PREMiERdrum gave his update. Tons of new VINs are getting dates before some of us that were scheduled many weeks ago. I just don't get what Ford is doing. Its not like they scheduled a bunch of BB with soft tops, they are MIC and Sas just like those of us that got pushed into mid August or later.

Posted this on another thread, but I'll share it here too -

Looks like a majority of build dates hitting inboxes now are 8/9. I wonder if that's a sign for those that were previously provided a late July build and were bumped to 8/16 will move back in to 8/9.

Honestly - my best guess is that this movement is all about the MIC top. Those getting emails today are getting the latest update on the MIC.....i wouldnt be surprised if I called into Ford in a few days when the system updates and they tell me my 7/26 (moved to 8/16) is now 8/9

So you do not believe this is the first week of the cycle???

My VIN generated today, I have an 8/23 production date, although I fully expect that to move at some point judging by history. Just happy to have a VIN!

Congrats to those who got emails. If I don't get an email this round or next week (if they schedule next week) Then I will make the switch to a soft top... see if that helps. Day of reservation but it didn't register until 7/14 sometime.

Likely means commodities are easing a bit, and based on dealer allocation/reservation timestamp/other options/other scheduling considerations more orders are getting moved into our scheduling dates. I've been bumped back too, and am currently week of 8/16, and I'm thrilled others are getting scheduled around that time too. More Broncos on the road is a good thing!

It's at a point I'm not going to overthink it or worry too much. There's too much complexity in how the scheduling process plays out and how constantly changing commodity availability will bump certain builds around to try to make sense of it on the limited info we have visibility to here.

Ford is going to schedule what they can build, August ramp up is way bigger than the amount of FEs so your gonna see this happen.
