So i just confirmed a dealer trade for a 2023 wildtrak in Hot Pepper Red with high/lux package. Im coming from a 2021 f150 Platinum. gonna miss my Blue Cruise and my massaging seats. But im excited this is the first SUV ive owned. Ive had trucks my entire life since i was 16. I still have a 09 F250 V10 fx4 for any hauling i want to do but this will be my daily. What should be my first mod or accessory? I like lights and decals!!!! haha

Lights before lockers, for sure.

Anyway, since it's your daily, I'd get the comfort stuff first - like floor mats, rock rail/side steps, etc. Whatever makes it easier to drive. For me it was upgrading the radio. It's a big change from the F150.

I hesitate at calling it a SUV, but ... I couldn't really think of anything better to call it really, and when the shoe fits.

If you aren't going to wheel it hard, try to find a set of the factory running boards. They make getting in and out really easy. They also do pretty good of blocking rocks thrown by the tires.

If you drive over gravel , you'll probably want to add mud flaps too.

Black lug nuts and locks.

An arm rest cover for the center console.

Just open your wallet, there's lots to buy if you want to.

Congrats! I’d say your first real mod should be running boards or side steps. Enjoy your new rig!

My paint started to get chundered when my vehicle left the lot. Mud flaps for sure. Rock rails for added insurance.

I don’t get running boards. They’ll just get worked when you are off-road. If you are not going off road why purchase a Bronco?

I do go off road but not rock crawling. Mainly mud and snow. Tires may be in the future as these throw all the Little Rock’s!!! And definitely mud flaps. I want some rail/steps of some sort. Just got to look and figure out which kind.
