Hi all,

I'm curious if anyone who has had aftermarket headlights installed (either DIY or professional) had any issues with warning messages popping up after?

I did aftermarket headlights myself, and I think one of my parking sensors is loose and is causing them to not work. But I have started getting other pop-ups since then:

Last weekend both my passenger airbag light came on and my pre-collision assist was temporarily unavailable. Both are since working as should.
Today I'm getting messages about my trailer break disconnect and my front camera not working.

Do you think this a coincidence and just something loose, or could there possibly be something else going on?
The headlight install was all plug and play and fairly easy.

I’d start with mentioning which aftermarket headlights you’re using and that might help. Also maybe what trim you’ve got/factory headlights (signature or non)

Full disclosure - I don’t own those headlights and have never owned an Oracle product but they seem to enjoy a decent reputation.
If they were mine - I’d start by simply disconnecting every connection you made and reconnecting it as well as perhaps disconnecting the battery for 10-15’ and reconnecting it. If that didn’t work I’d reinstall one of my factory headlights at a time and see what happens.
Any codes? Definitely seems like it could be some sort of crummy connection issue.. I’d make sure your grounds are tight too

I have the Oracle Bi-Oculus amber headlights - not the color shift. I did not have any issues with pop up warnings.

I've actually already done this once - which is why I think one of the parking sensors is loose. Might just have to make an appointment at the dealer...
