Been chasing a slight power train vibration felt in the steering wheel, brake and gas pedal. I believe I can faintly hear a corresponding "him/growl" but the soft top doesn't help. I came across this and brought it to the dealerships attention. They claim a wheel balance corrected the issue and that this seap/leak from the axles/front diff is normal.

Dealership: "
yes so basically its normal to have a little bit seep through from what he stated, basically all gasket and boots look good, normally on the broncos if they are leaking bad you will see the axle boots torn

Ford considers oil weeps/seeps normal in some cases and not a warrantable concern.
Leaks that are dripping would constitute a warranty repair.
Understandable.

For some reason it's not letting me post pictures but I well when I can and am interested in the consensus.

First of all. I wouldn't trust Ford of Upland with anything......Ford of Upland can suck it, IMO. They are literally like within 2 miles of my house and I choose to go elsewhere....

I had front diff leaks and my dealer said they had already seen dozens of them leaking. Mine was pinion seal which they said was the most common issue. Replaced under warranty.

My pinion seal replaced at 18k miles. Dealership identified it during LOF and replaced it under warranty.

If it's anything like Toyota, as a tech I can't recommend leaks under warranty unless the liquid physicaly hits the ground. Personally no sleep is acceptable.

If you get your Bronco fluid filmed / woolwaxed, you won't care about seeps. Hell, it's basically impossible to distinguish seeps from the rust preventer.

The vintage trucks that aren't rusted to hell underneath are the ones that leaked the most. I'm restoring one now. The oil pan is like new because it was covered in oil and grease. The areas that didn't get leaked all over are the areas that need rust repair. LOL.

The way these seals go out just give it a couple months and it will be a drip.

True. I’d probably just warranty it regardless if I was me 🤷‍♂️ it isn’t going to stop or get better

Ever took pics, but it did make a helluva mess underneath. Took a bit to clean it all up too

I had my oil changed at 15K and they said I had a Diff Leak at gasket. They fixed it under warranty. Took them a couple hours. Service guy said its a common issue lately with Broncos.
