Who gives a sh_t what you call it?

Yellow is a primary color, you cannot have any shade of orange without it. Orange also has some red (another primary color). Definitely more orange than red, but again, who gives a sh_t. If you like, order it.

I'm getting Cyber Orange because it pops and looks amazing in light and changes and is a lot less boring than people who argue about color shades.

Funny someone else posted their opinions and said it looks like a school bus in pictures but not in person, its better in person to them

WHO DO I BELIEVE
Believe no one. Find a Ranger or Branco Sport near you, and go look at it in person. I can say that I have never seen a school bus with pearlescent or metallic paint, so I tend to discount the comments of those who claim it looks just like a school bus.

Different cultures (and the same culture over time) will often differentiate and name colors in the spectrum differently. Here's a good primer on that topic. Even in the same language, as one moves away from primary colors there tends to be more disagreement on the correct nomenclature for specific colors and shades. Yellow/orange/gold is a prime example.

I still have friends who think the Chicago Bears wear black. It's navy blue, which is, to be fair, much closer to black than it is to baby blue. (And the Vikings--non-football Vikings, that is--used the same word for these colors.)

So yeah, who gives a sh_t what you call it? If you like it, get it. I'm going Area 51 so don't really have a dog in this fight, but CO would be my second choice. I think it's fantastic.

Happy to have been pedantic.

This is exactly right. Carrots are not orange. They are a very deep shade of yellow. This is fact. This truck is yellow, by definition, and the color's name is nothing more than a brand identification.

Define which highway stripes :)

Defining all road stripes as yellow is very subjective and incorrect. Which is fine, but you can't say CO looks like all road stripes... So that definition falls apart pretty quick.

There are definitely yellow lines and orange lines on our roads....

Yeah it was a joke. We can start a thread asking what color highway lines are next if you like :ROFLMAO:
That first picture you posted is the one I was referencing btw

I don't think it looks like a school bus...but it's almost exactly the same color. Indistinguishable colors in pics.

I love the pictures and video I see on official Ford content but other pictures I am seeing make the Cyber Orange look a lot more like Yellow. I get that the light and angle can likely change the look but does anyone know what it will actually look like post production?
It is more Golden than yellow but no real hint of orange at all. Maybe mustardy in low light to sparkling golden-yellow in the sun.

Nah, the primary colors are red, green, and blue. Yellow and orange are combinations of Red and Green and a hint of Blue might not change your mind either.

Pictures mean nothing. We have all learned that lesson, with A51 and Cactus Gray.

Absolutely this. Go find a Ranger in CO and see it in person.

Objectively I would describe it as a yellow rather than an orange. But if you put it next to an actual yellow vehicle, it ain't the same color. Same if you put it next to an orange vehicle. (Both were actually on the lot when I went to see a CO Ranger.)
