iPhone MagSafe Accessory Mount With Charging Off Road Proof

Hey Guys, figured out a pretty cool way to mount my iPhone 15 pro max to the dash using the 1/4 20 accessory mount feature. I’ve been using a Spiegel MagSafe charger for many years in my old Ford Explorer, and wanted to keep using in my new Bronco. They’re not “fast” chargers, but will keep your phone charged for long road trips. I’ve kept my phone unlocked for 7 hours straight while connected while maintaining battery life.

Even though I have a 15 pro max, should be able to adjust for any iPhone with the MagSafe back as long as the phone case is also MagSafe compatible.

Here’s a list of parts below with links. You’ll have to take apart the Spiegel ball socket to unscrew the mount it comes with. Can be a bit tricky, since the threads are glued. Use a vice or heavy duty pliers.
