Now that my bronco is scheduled, I get to plan things I want to add to it. The first is adding a fog light kit to the mod bumper and ditch lights. I know that the kits come with plug and plays, but after reading the forums, I realized I don't understand electrical work. Is there any helpful places (or best YouTube channels) to start looking to actually understand the wiring guides and what everything means or how to add my own wiring components?

Don't fret! It's honestly quite simple.

The Bronco is a really fancy piece of technology, but it works the same as any other car out there.

The concepts are the same no matter where you mount the lights.

1.) Physically install them
2.) Ground to chassis (unpainted metal). It's not ideal to ground to the battery, and the resistance is essentially zero, so grounding to chassis is easier.
3.)Connect positive to either upfitter switch or secondary switch of some type. If using secondary switch, just run your positive wire with an inline fuse through wire conduit (I'll attach a photo below so you can see what it looks like, also called split tube) to the red side of the battery.
4.)Wire in switch (already done if using upfitter switch). This is the most confusing part typically, but it's a matter of connecting the right color wire to the right post on the switch.

Read up on the wiring of the aux switches if you have them. If you need resources for that, let me know.

This is split tubing or automotive conduit.

As @Theherofails stated in #2, if you're grounded you're not going to mess anything up while figuring out a light install. In general, try to never cut anything on the vehicle to get the wires to run where you want, there's normally an easier way. TESA tape and that piping is your friend!
