Electrical issue: Signature lights and Mirrors

I had a 22 Base Bronco that was totaled recently. Was able to purchase another and I am trying to get back to what I had. I was able to take the signature lighting (headlamps and taillights) and was also able to swith out the side mirrors (blinker and ground lights) everything was Ford, plug and play I thought. After the install, everything works except side mirrors, and now engine light with electrical issue reported. Anyone have an idea? Fuse? Should be plug and play?

Pretty sure the spot lamps and puddle lamps need to be turned on doing some forscan programming. They’re not plug and play.
As far as the check engine light, it may help if you tell us what DTC is set

The wiring may also not be the same between a base and a bronco that has spotlights/puddle lights from the factory. Here is a good thread with a lot of information. For some reason I remember some of the wiring was not present in some years/models.

Thanks... this is a bit above my pay grade. I haven't dabbled in forscan yet. It sounds like an expensive thing to do at a dealership. If I can get the turn signals and car detection to work... i would be happy. Puddle lights are a luxury.

Tried to download forscan. Seems you can't download anymore. They suspended sales of forscan for windows. Can't download anything. So if anyone is in the Montgomery county area in PA... let me know if you can help me out code is P0073 outside air temp sensor. Now I am confused.

That sensor is in the bottom of the drivers mirror. So that’s another thing you’ll need to check in the mirror.

I see... so the issue is with the side mirrors. At least it is narrowed down. I don't have my old side mirrors anymore. Hopefully there is a fix for this.

If you aren't able to find someone local to help you with forscan, Panda does offers a remote forscan service that isn't too expensive IMO. Maybe hit them up and see if this feature is something they can help with.

So this is what I have. None of this is working:

The Spotlight is the white LED that shines sideways.
The Security Light is a white LED on the bottom of the mirror that turns on and shines on the ground when you click the "Unlock" doors.
The BLIS is hidden behind the mirror in the bottom

Yeah all of that will need forscan unfortunately.
Puddle light is the name for what you’re calling a security light.
