Thought I'd make a post about this since it was hard to find any information for procedure. Had to wing it for the last bit haha. Overall, got the 6/8" padding and Damn! Feels really good!

first, run your tool around the top or bottom corners of the back for the center console to find the snaps (4) Then locate pin that holds the piece on the hindge and pop it out. This gives you the entire top pirtion. Next wiggle the tool in around the edges of the padding and itll pop off the 6 clips easily. Next is the hardest part... stapling the cover to the existing cover!!! Make sure that you ha e a hand staple gun handy. Align the the stirching with the console and stretch it tight against the fromt then back then sides. Everything snaps back together and voila! Better armrest!

they're bad about communicating...they've gotten into shouting matches here on the forums, and with no instructions still listed on their site I hate that I wasted my money. I have a piece of leather just sitting on a counter. I shoulda known better.

They said "OK, so what you need to do is basically remove the armrest from the vehicle, separate the top and bottom halves of it (I believe there are screws on the underwise of the factory armrest which will allow you to do that) and wrap the top section in our leather - while it can be attached with double-faced tape or even just sandwiched between the top and bottom sections of the armrest, we really do recommend gluing it to the underlying armrest..."

And I can't believe you stapled that!!!!

Yea, I figured I can remove staples easier than glue if I don't like it.

Hi

Installation instructions are available on our website for quite a while now so you can use it, together with this write-up that @Iamthedan1989 shared and be able to install your cover.

An a little explanation on why the instructions weren't available when we started making armrest covers - we always rely on the first customer to provide us with installation instructions as it is not possible for us to have access to each and every car on the market we offer products for and be able to make our own installation instructions. Of course that would be the best way to do it but we're only a small, family-owned shop and we know our limitations. On the other hand - relying on customers with instructions makes the instructions more useful - we might overlook some things that would be pretty obvious to us and not that obvious for our customers. And the owner of the car can provide some hints we're not able to and and useful advice for someone who may not be experienced in this type of job.

And we're always open to discussion - even if it sometimes means being dragged into unnecessary shouting matches as you noticed :(

Take care

Jack

Have any more pictures of these seat covers? I'm thinking about either these or the mabbet ones on Amazon. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I'll update with pics later while on lunch. I will say that they feel like all weather canvas like you'd find on a boat. So not very soft but not too rough. Since install they haven't warped or lost shape in anyway, I daily drove and am in the car 4 different times during a shift. The little pillow they come with is great for lunch naps. They did come with a back and headrest cover but I forgo using either. I didn't use the headrest cover because it looks shifty IMO, and the back you have to put on first and I hadnt.

Here's some more pics. The latch to the backseat is covered by the top zipper so I have to keep it open.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah the missing back is what threw me off initially, but that makes sense now.

I like the color with EG, I'm rocking the same, so may go for these over the Mabett faux leather ones.

Yea, I picked them over Mabett since they don't (or didn't at the time) have the 2 door with the faux leather. I'm not disappointed and they're cheap!

Being in Florida it's hot and sunny year round, that's my main concern with the faux leather. Glad to hear you're liking these!
