It is a ton easier to mount broken up due to size, together it's a pretty big package. I just ordered a cheap sealed electrical box from Amazon for the wireless receiver and to mount the plug and power switch. The solenoid pack looks like below, I ran a 3-conductor control cable down and mounted it as close to the winch as possible so I could keep the power cables as short as possible. The cable I had scraps laying around at work but you can buy custom lengths on AutomationDirect.

I also ordered rubber battery cable covers from Amazon so the terminals weren't exposed. The solenoid pack is sealed so you don't have to worry about getting it wet.

I was going to put the wireless receiver, switch and solenoid in a box under the airbox but then realized that I actually need to access the switch. Maybe it will still work. Your set up is super clean and readily accessible right there by the battery.

I would like to but the solenoid in a box (not fully sealed) just to protect all of the connectors somewhat. Or I could just use gland nuts on all the wires to the solenoid.

At least now that I have the components in front of me I can plan better.

So lost

This was my solution. Drops onto the recovery points. I’m on 33’s so couldn’t afford to give up that inch or so down low.

Don’t get me wrong. Yours looks super clean👍
How much was your drop with the weight from the mass on the bracket and winch? Thanks
