I've searched this forum, as well as Ford Support, and general internet... Trying to find useful information regarding use of offline .gpx files in SYNC 4 navigation. Can they be loaded and used? If so - how? If not - OK.

Hard to find any facts or definitive info on this topic - anyone have intel?

Thx

I don't have an apple device, but I see Carplay can use the REVER app.

I've used that app with my (android) phone and to export maps to the basic nav on my motorcycle. It definitely allows the importing and of gpx files.

If you have an apple device, I'd start there. If Android, there may be something, but not REVER apparently.

If you want to use the native Sync navigation, I don't know. A quick Google search does not yield promising results.

Sorry, I can't help you with your specific question so consider this not useful if you've already explored the other options for offline navigation..

Just wanted to make sure you know there are several apps that work with Android Auto or Apply CarPlay and are great for offline navigation and working with gpx files. Personally I use Gaia for all my off road route planning then just display it via Android Auto. If it works fine on a low tech Wrangler I'm sure it will work even better on a Bronco.
