So has anyone called the hotline and had them check your status and get told specifically that theirs is a chip hold? I called the other day and the lady said mine doesn’t say chip hold but I have my doubts.

Hotline is hit or miss but they confirmed mine is waiting on a chip.

Oh you poor soul. I lived there for a year and a half. A little surprised you didn't have a Ford dealer close to you. Feel like all I saw there were Raptors driving around... lol. Give some rednecks some oil money and watch it drive around

There's a local dealer, have a good relationship and a better deal through another though.

My feellings exactly. I grew up in a Ford family. Dad was an executive there. After an experience with a rusting Escape over the rear wheel well (everyone has seen this, right?) I moved away to Dodge and foreign brands for my wife. I got caught up in the thought of the Bronco and ordered one. Ford has shown me that they are still the same old Ford. Their efforts to modernize their IT infrastructure looked good from the outside, but has proven to be a joke. The chances that I would trust buying an EV from these clowns is nil.
I will not activate the Fordpass to give these guys my data. I have zero confidence they would manage it properly. If they are giving $300 or so in freebies, it’s only because they are extracting more than that value from us.

I also reserved a Ford Lightning. Can you belive the Dealer called and asked me to convert my Lightning reservation to an order? I'm a day 1 res holder on the Bronco, waiting over 18-months since launch, over 1-year since Ford started handing them out to influences and YouTube junkies, and I'm still waiting on my "built" 2022 bandlands, thats theoretically sitting on ice mountain awaiting chips like a lot of other good folks. I told him to focus on the Bronco first- let's get that across the finish line, and then we can talk about the Lightning...

I drove by there today. There is very little progress going on. Also, the weather is all over the place. It's in the 50's today and another snowstorm is coming Thursday. So, the situation is Freeze, Thaw, repeat.

Thanks for going out. It seems like perhaps they don't have enough "extra" modules/chips to get much progress done on the ICE/Thaw mountain Broncos. Just enough for the line. Dammit.

I saw that a bunch of the auto sites picked it up this weekend. Maybe it will prompt ford to be a little more polite to people wanting to buy their stuff. All we want is a kick ass Bronco!
