Hey All, hoping someone can shed some light on what is going on. I installed the IAG LED lighted hood protector which come with integrated turn signals. I installed as per the directions (add a fuse into the fuse box and wire tapped each of the front turn signals). Everything seems to work correctly, however when I put the lights on AUTO, the LEDs show a solid bar instead of the 5 spaced LEDs. If I put the light I. The OFF, ON, or fog lights…. The bar displays correctly with the 5 spaced LEDs. Not when I put the lights on auto… it shows a solid bar (all LEDs are light up).
Any idea where I went wrong?

Disconnect the turn signal connections temporarily and see if the bar lights up correctly with the lights in the auto position. If it does, you may have grabbed the wrong wire in the headlight harness. What you are describing sounds like the turn signal wires of the hood deflector are receiving constant 12v with the switch in the auto position.
