Has anyone had one of these on a 2025 soft top. The website says it is not compatible but I am unable to see if this is accurate.

It IS compatible with 2025. The problem we have run into is that there was one 2025 we installed where the rear quarter panel trim was slightly different. This caused the spacing to the installation to be different. In the dozens of trucks I installed onto, this was the only one found to be this way. So we put a precaution on the listing until we could figure out what trim/package this occurred on. Well Ford doing Ford things there isn't a listing for a change in the quarter trim for 25. So basically, no one knows where this different panel is used. Or maybe it was just trimmed wrong to begin with.

TLDR, if the body side catch is bolted directly to the metal body tub (you can see body colored paint behind the catch), it will fit no issues. If it is bolted to the plastic panel, you will need to install the IAG latches without the installation spacers provided in the kit.

I received this reply via Facebook. So, does that mean the current configuration will or will not work?

Just as I explained above. We can't say that it will work on the 25 because of the 1% that needs a special install. If your truck meets the criteria I mentioned above, it will install fine.

not trying to contradict our customer service team, just explaining what the actual problem is. If you can't confirm that your panels are the standard ones, I don't recommend it. If you can confirm, I'm saying it is a standard install.

TBH, Most customers don't know the difference in bumpers, or what package they have, whether they have SAS or not. Very hard to get those customers to check their vehicles for the difference in rear panels. So we decided to exclude 25 from the listing just to avoid 'false advertisement' We sell on Amazon too, alot of things need to be considered when selling in that marketplace.

So for those keeping score, I rolled the dice and ordered it.
It absolutely fits on a 2025 Outer Banks with a soft top.
