I've noticed that the "we have to go to EV" crowd lean predominately in one direction in regards to political beliefs as well. I pretty much don't really care what kind of vehicle any one else drives and THANK GOD I am so old that I will never be relegated to driving those overweight, ridiculous, laughable pieces of shit in my lifetime. Did you see the cost of a replacement Tesla battery last week? However we all know this is just a microscopic fraction of how people have lost their minds lol. It's the same concept being pandered by idiots that think covering our country with solar panels is the answer. OK...I'm out. Gotta start up my big F450 twin turbo (tuned to 1200 horsepower) smoke belching piece of Merica and make a beer run. Happy Sunday. Remember its the Lord's day so be nice to one another.
I’ve noticed that most people who genuinely have a love of the wilds and want to get out and be in nature generally don’t crap on practices of taking care of the environment.

Maybe as you go out in the ā€œsmoke belching piece of Mericaā€ and make a beer run you can remember the following from the Bible ā€œThe earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein…They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.ā€

While I understand the hesitation of buying a new gas powered vehicle when manufacturers are pushing heavily to go EV.. Hello some states not even allowing purchasing gaming computers due to electricity draw.. others (cough, California) asking people to not charge their EVs at times.... The only thing I like about EV is the performance possibility. Our infrastructure is not ready for everyone to have EVs. This transition is going to take many years if the complete conversion ever takes place. It's also not as environmentally friendly as people try to sell it as (creating and disposing the batteries). There is a long ways to go for this to be a valid switch for everyone. Your Bronco would be long past it's lifespan by that point anyways.

And as I believe many others have pointed out, if you are looking at a Bronco for fuel economy it's not the right car for you anyways.

I have owned many GAS GUZZLER TAXED vehicles and it befuddles me how the ICE Age crowd pays the way to the EV Age manufacturing of the likes of Tesla. Tesla sells over a Billion dollars a year in tax credits called Carbon Credits for other manufacturers to pay to skirt the huge Government fines. Meaning auto manufactures who are not up to date on the stringent EPA Mandates are forced to pay Tesla monies to buy tax credits which in turn enriches Tesla to make huge profits. The Gas Guzzler tax on cars that do not exceed the 18 mpg EPA guidelines is paid by the purchaser of the vehicle. But why and I mean why doesn’t the EPA force the likes of Tesla to have a Carbon Tax on vehicles that are strapped to Coal and Natural Gas Electric plants to charge theor Vehicle. You would think their would have to be a separate sticker on the window sticker alerting the purchaser you are not saving the planet by plugging in your electric vehicle if your local energy company uses fossil fuels to energize your house😳. And add insult to injury to us ICE age owners its roughly 40k miles before a electric vehicle is actually Carbon free should it not be re charged by any fossil fuels. Crazy times to advance an agenda that is pushed more by fear than actual needs. And dont get me wrong I have no issues of new technology and electric but let the free markets create the demands and not the Legislatures of the world force demands.
