Sold my 2015 GT for my 2023 Wildtrack. I had been in Mustangs for 12 years (the 2015 was my 3rd one consecutively.)

The 2015 was giving me problems so it was time to move on anyways, and I just needed a change, but the only things I miss are the V8 rumble and driving a manual, everything else is pretty great in the Bronco.

I tell everyone who asks me, if the Bronco had a V8 I would probably never consider a Mustang again.

The Bronco wont handle the same as your GT, and it's not as fast, but you will be surprised by the initial torque / seat of pants feeling when stepping on it (assuming your GT was still NA).

You will love not having to worry about curbs, wheel damage, the extra space, sitting up high, the off-road capabilities, the large touch screen, and just the fact that it is very, very different from the Mustang. Pretty much all the things I really appreciate coming from a Stang to a bronco.

Our other car is a Tesla Model Y. It's faster than both obviously, and has some other benefits, but its a very uninspired driving experience for a car lover. The Bronco is a nice gap between the Mustang and Model Y.

Ideally, I would like to get into a V8 Mustang again, maybe while keeping the Bronco. I'll give it a year or two and then make that decision. For now, I'm having a lot of fun in the Bronco!

Good luck with your decision!

As most other commenters stated, “they are different animals”. I’m not a big car person, but can say when news of the 6th gen bronco came out I was more excited about this than any other vehicle I’ve purchased. Previous was a Subaru Outback. And I was getting into long haul road-tripping yearly and lots of camping through the years. While the gas mileage was a con I looked forward to the off road capabilities. I had encountered lots of detours and routes taking me off paved roads and thought the bronco would provide a worry free experience. I love it. I also drive a Jeep gladiator and I can say that the bronco feels heavy and like a rock. A mustang is meant for speed and more agility than a bronco can offer. So it really depends on what you’ll be using your wild tack for. Will it be your daily driver? Are you planning some dune driving or over landing which will probably require more expenses to get all the fun bronco accessories to make the trips more comfortable? Of course they’re not needed but it’s something to consider.

So , my wildtrak will be delivered in the next week or so and my 2015 mustang which I originally was going to keep must be sold so I can be in a better position with the bronco..
I don't HAVE TO sell the mustang but it would greatly help me with a lil tigher financial situation currently. Basically I'd be losing one horse but gaining another ..my question is, am I stupid for getting rid of this car? Or is the bronco that much fun that I won't mind ? Or buck up and tighten the belt? I know this is very opinion based but I just wanted some light hearted feedback to soften the loss of my baby..here she is..

The fact that you are asking the question and speaking of your tight financial situation makes the answer clear to me. Sell the Mustang, enjoy the Bronco! Peace of mind comes from improved financial condition. Pay down your debt and put any spare cash in an appreciating asset. I bought 2 mo T Bills last week yielding 5.37%.

I'm in the same boat. I maybe selling my Shelby GT500 after I get my WIldtrak next week. I just see myself driving the Bronco daily and my GT500 not so much.

SHE is stunning...I say keep them both!!!! I traded in my convertible sports car for my softtop bronco and immediately missed her, bought her back from the dealer the next day. Fast forward 3 months later , It was the best decision I could have ever made. The two cars have drastically different rides/convenience/utility and I love having the optionality. I also live in the Bay Area so traffic/parking, atmospheric rivers/ natural disasters are common themes.

Both are great. Are there factors that would be hard to replace with another Mustang later such as emotional attachment, first car uniqueness ect? If so that's a factor. If not there are ALOT of S550s out there and you may be able to replace it with a better one later for less. Ofcourse there is something to be said about being an original owner and knowing it's history. I kept my Mustang because it was my first new car and my first Mustang plus my son and I have wrenched on it together along woth other factors. If it were a normal run of the mill Mustang I probably would have sold it by now given the sellers market that has been out there. Lastly with the warranty and manufacturer issues leaving people without running Broncos for months there is some security in having another vehicle.

Blasphemy !!!! Blasphemy I say !!!!!!!

In all seriousness, you have to decide what you want to do. As you see in my Avatar, I have a 21 GT500 and my 68 GTA. As I been told, I can only drive one at a time. True. Though I have modded my Bronco, it is not my GT500. When I need the need for speed, that is what I get into.

When I want to go old school, which also is not slow, 400 RWHP and 425 RwTQ, I hop in my 68. My Bronco is my daily, and my Off-Road buddy as well. I sold my 2019 Harley Davidson F150 for it, it was a tough call, but in the end i am happy I did it. my reason was i did not use my truck like a truck. So here we are.

My point to this long-winded reply is only YOU can decide what it is you want to do. Do you use your stang like a stang? Will you use your Bronco like a Bronco? My Jessabelle will never be challenged the way I have her built out here in S. FL. Honestly. But I do enjoy driving her as my daily, and when I do take her off-road it's a blast. So for me, yes ALL THREE WILL STAY. Though I may not race Akira the way I use to, (The track was closed) I still enjoy taking her out late at night and taking some curves around S.FL. I still enjoy cruising my 68. And my daily is a work in progress still, and with my mods, well that Bronco has some giddy-up as well. :)
68 GTA 🤤 how do you make an auto badass? Label it GTA. You have great taste with a stable like that.

Interesting choice on the GLE63. Most have gone with either the Cayenne Coupe Turbo S or the RS Q8. Once in a while an X6.
I looked/drove both and found the MB a better value, more comfortable, and more HP/torque. Plus, I’ve been buying MB for many years and have a few others in the garage at the moment.
