So , my wildtrak will be delivered in the next week or so and my 2015 mustang which I originally was going to keep must be sold so I can be in a better position with the bronco..
I don't HAVE TO sell the mustang but it would greatly help me with a lil tigher financial situation currently. Basically I'd be losing one horse but gaining another ..my question is, am I stupid for getting rid of this car? Or is the bronco that much fun that I won't mind ? Or buck up and tighten the belt? I know this is very opinion based but I just wanted some light hearted feedback to soften the loss of my baby..here she is..

Keep it! After riding in a Mustang, you may hate the Bronco on agility. Keep them both for a while if you can

More importantly why are you getting a Bronco?

We have both and they are obviously completely different animals (although both equine...) but if I had to pick one it would be the Bronco. I should add that the Mustang is my wife's. :p

You had fun with the Mustang, time to have fun with a Bronco. I'm keeping my 2017 Accord and still getting the Bronco but each person is in a different place. Trade in the Mustang to help yourself with money. Either way you go I'm sure you'll enjoy the Bronco

I'm in a similar boat as you. I have my M3 that I SHOULD sell, but don't need to.

After driving the bronco for a bit, I'm settled on selling the M3. The Bronco (at least my 2 door base) is plenty of fun. Like a small but tall muscle car in a way.

If you're looking at a 4 door bronco, that makes the decision harder. The longer wheelbase would drive more like a standard SUV or truck vs a muscle car. I agree with keeping them both for a month and then deciding.

Mustang > Accord

Not a good comparison.

Sold the Mustang. Mine was a drop top GT with a manual. Bronco is a 2-door with a manual.

Bronco is a better daily driver
Better if you have the occasional 3rd passenger.
Way better in terms of blind spots.

Top down on the 'Stang was way nicer than the Bronco, but yours is a hard top.

Bronco is quieter on the freeway, but the top seal on the Mustang wasn't great.

Mustang got better MPG on the highway, Bronco gets better in town. (within 10% - so nothing burger)

Dashboard is a million times more useable on the Mustang than the Dumpster Fire we have on the Bronco.

Sold my 2014 Mustang to get the Bronco but I mainly sold it because we were having a baby and I didn't want to deal with the car seat situation in the Mustang.

I still miss my Mustang here and there but not nearly as much as I thought I was going to. I was getting to a point where I wasn't fully utilizing the Mustang's speed/power as much and the Bronco being a fun car on its own helped with the switch.

What about buying the Bronco and seeing how you feel about having both cars before you make a decision?

I mean I am always on the boat of not over extending your self for the sake of having a second car.

I would and did just keep the Bronco. I wish I would have kept the ranger in hindsight because now I know why I bought a truck but I will get over it.

I'm in the same boat. I maybe selling my Shelby GT500 after I get my WIldtrak next week. I just see myself driving the Bronco daily and my GT500 not so much.

Blasphemy !!!! Blasphemy I say !!!!!!!

In all seriousness, you have to decide what you want to do. As you see in my Avatar, I have a 21 GT500 and my 68 GTA. As I been told, I can only drive one at a time. True. Though I have modded my Bronco, it is not my GT500. When I need the need for speed, that is what I get into.

When I want to go old school, which also is not slow, 400 RWHP and 425 RwTQ, I hop in my 68. My Bronco is my daily, and my Off-Road buddy as well. I sold my 2019 Harley Davidson F150 for it, it was a tough call, but in the end i am happy I did it. my reason was i did not use my truck like a truck. So here we are.

My point to this long-winded reply is only YOU can decide what it is you want to do. Do you use your stang like a stang? Will you use your Bronco like a Bronco? My Jessabelle will never be challenged the way I have her built out here in S. FL. Honestly. But I do enjoy driving her as my daily, and when I do take her off-road it's a blast. So for me, yes ALL THREE WILL STAY. Though I may not race Akira the way I use to, (The track was closed) I still enjoy taking her out late at night and taking some curves around S.FL. I still enjoy cruising my 68. And my daily is a work in progress still, and with my mods, well that Bronco has some giddy-up as well. :)

I would sell the Mustang.
I know myself pretty well, and I would be in trouble with the law and my insurance company with the Mustang.

I sold my 2016 Camaro 2SS a while ago before I got my Bronco. It had the all the packages and factory installed ground effects body kit.

Same situation as OP. Could have kept it.
I regret it selling it(even my wife as well). We miss the V8 sound and instant throttle response.
