I got mine bud. But it ain’t about me and it ain’t about OP. It’s about you commenting negatively towards thousands waiting in line from the start. Interestingly enough while you sit on an order that’s weeks old.
I wish you nothing but the best with your bronco. Glad you’ve already taken delivery. Also glad you’ve taken interest in my order week, that makes two of us. Unlike the sensitive people that get salty over waiting, I’m not gonna complain about something out of my hand. People ordered the hottest car during a pandemic, there are gonna be delays. If you’re expecting ford to honor their original roll out plan, you’re in for a huge letdown.

Sounds about right, I mean why would Ford waste a perfectly good MIC top on a reservation holder. I guess they figure that most of the early reservation holders are so pissed off right now that nothing they do will satisfy them so they are just righting them off.
All of those reservation holders can go ahead and walk in like this person did instead of holding onto false hope.

Hardtop? Hopefully a sign more 2-doors are in the pipeline.

Hi everyone! Long time shadower of this forum but I finally wanted to say hi. I was reluctant to even post this because I know how long some of you have been waiting....Anywho, I preordered a 22' Black Diamond/2.3/Cactus Grey/MIC hardtop/Mid package in January 13th 2022 at Norm Reeves Ford since I was promised it would be sold at MSRP. The salesperson who I was emailing told me it would that 6-8 months before I received the vehicle, which was fine. This past Thursday, I got a text that my vehicle was at the dealership and I had 72 hours to purchase otherwise they were going to mark it up and put it on sale for the public. I was truly in shock the first couple of hours and even *considered* on NOT purchasing (crazy I know). Of course, I purchased and I am so glad I did. I got the vehicle at MSRP and my salesperson (Joseph) was great. Now, I digress and just want to express how excited I am to be part of this community!
congratulations, jacka—— *ahem*
Pardon me, I meant… congrats!

But seriously, glad you had a great experience! Don’t let those of us with highly-constrained builds get you down. Welcome to the club (that I hope to maybe one day join)! And welcome to the forums! Hope to see adventure pictures posted soon!

Crappy that people hate on the OP for getting lucky. Should the OP turn down their Bronco because a 1st day res holder hasn’t gotten one yet? That’s crap.
According to the hour one/day one (TM) reservation holder, the world should stop revolving until each and every one of them has their Bronco—delivered though and only through the all-holy Granger—before anybody else can have one. Praise be unto the day one reservation holders. Hahahahahahab

Congrats OP on your new Bronco! Enjoy it without guilt. There are those that are throwing around the big "I've waited thisssss long" when it really boils down to everyone has waited only 274 days, or less since the Bronco went into production.

Wow! I ordered from the same dealer and similar specification as you with the exception of the 2.7. And I am a week 1 reservation holder. Did you already know before hand, that you had the VIN and production date already? I still haven't received a VIN for mine. :(

Also do you mind sharing the APR they were giving you from FORD? And how quickly was it to get approve at your credit union? I imagine they tried really hard to get you to finance through Ford.
Nope, I had no information at all. I had a PDF of the order confirmation when I pulled the trigger but no information after that until I got the text that they had received it. Part of me feels like they purposefully told me last minute/close to a weekend since most banks/credit unions are closed but that could just be my own skepticism. The lowest they offered was 2.99 for 60 months and 3.99 for 72 months OR 2.99 for 72 months if I agreed to a warranty or alarm. I drove my credit union Saturday morning and I was out of there within an hour with a cashiers check and getting 2.34 APR.

By posting his good fortune that’s exactly what he’s done hasn’t he. Early res holders waiting on hard tops(I’m not one of them) have every right to gripe about the Johnny come latelys getting constrained builds. No fault on OP’s part. As he said, he got lucky with Ford’s BS allocation scam.

And bonus the mothership congratulates an order holder from January this year while folks from launch night wait. Ain’t right. Not hard to see that.
She. Females own Broncos, too.

Thank for sharing the information. I'm quite surprise that you didn't get an email from ford telling you your VIN, and production and all the good jazz. Now, I feel like I need to be prepared for a surprise text. Was Joseph Calderon your sales guy? I may have to give him a call, he's been ghosting my emails :(

Nice that Ford replies to this post.
Thay need to feel good when a customer has this kind of experience. And keep telling themselves that those of us who will still be waiting in 2 years only have theirselves to blame.
