Congrats! Just curious when you first heard of the Bronco and why you waited so long to order? Many of us who are still waiting reserved/ordered on day one and were waiting possibly years for it to come back. Not criticizing, just wondering if it was something you saw one day and figured you’d order one and got lucky
I've been following the Bronco since it was first announced in....2020? (or 2019) but I was in graduate school/not working at the time and not in the financial position to pre-order one. I graduated August 2021 so I started saving up right away and placed my order in January with the anticipation that I wouldnt get it til the end of 22'.

Dang... Three days. I would of been in trouble since I had to move money around for mine. Salesman told me yesterday they held onto a FE for a customer for 60 days as the poor guy tried to line up financing. In the end, couldn't do it and they sold it to someone else.
Yeah, it was definitely a stressful couple of days and hard decision to make. I had been saving for awhile but I wasnt at my anticipated goal since I assumed I was going to get it towards the end of 22'

I ordered in january of 22, because all the Broncos I had seen in person were $50k+. Which put it competing with quite a few other SUVs. It wasn't until I saw a base model on lot at $36k that truly decided to order.

Don’t let the “600 day reservation but my build has every constraint” club members hear about this. This has to be the shortest time from order to delivery hands down. Thanks for sharing! I’ve got a basesquatch 2.7L, MIC cactus grey in order but I was 2/5/22 order date.
By posting his good fortune that’s exactly what he’s done hasn’t he. Early res holders waiting on hard tops(I’m not one of them) have every right to gripe about the Johnny come latelys getting constrained builds. No fault on OP’s part. As he said, he got lucky with Ford’s BS allocation scam.

And bonus the mothership congratulates an order holder from January this year while folks from launch night wait. Ain’t right. Not hard to see that.

Not saying Ford’s secret formula for building broncos is perfect. Some people just need to have realistic expectations and not try to discount someone’s positive experience just because their build has all the constraints and is at a dealer that gets handfuls of broncos a month so they won’t get a bronco until 2025. We all know a bean counter is running the show and every decision ford makes is to maximize profits given the current situation. Also, the person typing congrats messages to new owners is probably an intern sitting in an office 3000 miles away from anyone at Ford that can make any meaningful decisions.

(Also I think OP is a girl, not trying to assume anyones gender)

Crappy that people hate on the OP for getting lucky. Should the OP turn down their Bronco because a 1st day res holder hasn’t gotten one yet? That’s crap.

I see your fairly new here. Congrats on your order placed a few weeks ago. Perhaps do some catching up before sticking your thumb in the eye of those that have been waiting from night one. I'm sure seeing builds like this amps your optimism that your recent order will be filled soon too, but don't let that turn spiteful with comments such as " Don’t let the “600 day reservation but my build has every constraint” club members hear about this. "

And as for the FoMoCo account. Of course it's an intern. Doesn't change the fact they are the face of Ford here. They read posts all day and know the sentiment on late orders being filled while others wait.

Thanks for the welcome! I have done some reading around here and I am not optimistic I will see my bronco before 2023. That I can be realistic about. I also won’t shit on people that get theirs before me and let their fortune discount my bronco experience. I sincerely hope every early res holder gets their bronco soon but I don’t like the high horse they sit on and look down upon everyone who didn’t order within the first week. You can obviously tell the OP wasn’t trying to rain on anyone’s parade (especially the people waiting 600 days), just wanted to share their outlier experience that benefitted them greatly. It seems like people are getting a little entitled just because mommy ford wouldn’t let you throw money at them for a bronco during a pandemic. Waiting sucks for sure, but don’t suck the life out of everyone else because they aren’t in your exact shoes.

I got mine bud. But it ain’t about me and it ain’t about OP. It’s about you commenting negatively towards thousands waiting in line from the start. Interestingly enough while you sit on an order that’s weeks old.

It’s not directed at the OP, FoMoCo made promises early on that were pushed aside and are now building dealer stock that could fill an early reservation.

Yeah definitely. The financing mangers also insisted I take their warranties in order to get a decent APR. I ended up going with a credit union.
Wow! I ordered from the same dealer and similar specification as you with the exception of the 2.7. And I am a week 1 reservation holder. Did you already know before hand, that you had the VIN and production date already? I still haven't received a VIN for mine. :(

Also do you mind sharing the APR they were giving you from FORD? And how quickly was it to get approve at your credit union? I imagine they tried really hard to get you to finance through Ford.
