So, my Bronco was built on May 31, and up to this point, the only email I got was to inform me that it was built. I've checked with Ford marketing and my delivery date has skipped 3 or 4 times over the last month. Tonight, however, I got an email from Ford stating that, "THE ESTIMATED ARRIVAL DATE OF YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN UPDATED."

Has anyone else received this email in the past? If you did, how long afterwards was your Bronco delivered?

Should I be getting hopeful or not?

Thanks.

So all it said was the arrival date has been updated but didn’t provide an actual arrival date? That’s lame. I never got an email update for changed arrival dates besides the one telling me my hardtop was being replaced with 2.0 MIC. The date did change a few times on the tracker. I’m sure someone here has had an email like yours. Good luck on getting it soon!

I received a similar email last night. It says they expect my truck to arrive between July 2nd - 8th. Now being the 5th, I am not so hopeful on that timeline.

This is normal, and it typically is pretty well delayed. Meeting that if you're actually watching and constantly checking your estimated delivery date online, you will see the change well before you get the email.

I was checking my daily at a minimum, and noticed the emails or at least one week late.

FYI, that delivery estimated date will change guaranteed. I don't think anyone has received a Bronco by that first date.

It will most likely change 3+ times and is honestly irrelevant until your Bronco actually starts MOVING on a train.

I kinda figured, but like i said in my initial post, the shipping date has already changed about 3 or 4 times in the past 30 or so days but this is the first email I have received referencing shipping/delivery. My vehicle is being transported by convoy, and since drivers can pick and choose the deliveries that they do, combined with the fact that my dealership is not next to an interstate, I am not expecting anything any time soon.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but mine was also Convoy and arrived at my dealer with absolutely no notification. I was sitting in "Awaiting shipment" and then one night my sales guy called and said it arrived. It stayed in "Awaiting shipment" for a few days after it was delivered ;)

Yes I received one. Ordered 3/27. Notified 6/1 it had been built and was in transit. Updated transit notice around 6/15 with an estimated delivery range. Took about a week from where it came off the train to get trucked to dealer. Delivered to me 6/29.

Convoy? Not 100% but I'd say the odds are in your favor. I've heard convoys can be as fast as a couple weeks where rail you are looking at 3 months.

Good luck!

Understand that is the expected date on that email for it to arrive by rail. That is not necessarily the expected arrival date to the Dealership. Maybe they will have a car carrier get it right away, maybe there is a wait for a carrier. Just being real. That final leg delayed mine 2 weeks more but that was in the middle of the lockdown in 2021.

Mine isn't going rail. It is convoy.

My estimated delivery date has changed numerous time, but I will say this is the first time I have received an email about it. All other times was just from when I reached out to Ford.

My truck is coming via convoy to PA.

My timeline:
Scheduled Week: 05/15
In Production: 05/15
Built: 06/22 (Was in production limbo)
"Estimated Arrival Date": 07/02 - 07/08 (Email received yesterday)

****Update
I just got off the phone with Ford Marketing, and they stated that my truck was released to the shipper on June 27th, but on their systems they do not see that it is actually in transit. Verified what I thought which was the estimated arrival time is inaccurate, but she made it seem as if it wasn't wildly far off.

Mine was unusual I think, it got delivered by the first day of the first estimated delivery date Ford provided. I was shocked (and sick with covid, of course). It also sat in build turnaround for five weeks just before that. My dealer said it was because they got a big delivery of trucks and they just threw it in the same load. I have no idea if it was rail or convoy.

You can always tell if it is RAIL or CONVOY. It is towards the bottom of your window sticker. :)
