If I thought I was a year out, I'd get a "bridge" vehicle also.

I joined in 2016 when I heard about this site and the new Bronco coming....I put off buying a brand new Outback Touring and bought a cheaper used one. That brand new 2016 would have made a great trade at this point....paid off etc etc.

Another member went out a nd bought a Jeep and I questioned why, since he knew the Bronco was coming. He simply stated that he could be out there doing Bronco type things , making the same type of memories in a Jeep , just 4 or 5 years sooner.
I knew instantly he was right.

So good on ya! Go out there and enjoy!!!

If you got this Taco at MSRP, you will have zero issues selling it for the same price or more than what you paid for it. These are sweet trucks plus its Rare Lunar Rock. Great move, and fantastic truck.

I know all of this is crazy, but if any of y’all are shooters you probably have some perspective on how bad supply issues really are. Even if you reload, you can’t get primers, powder, shot, or anything.
The only ones I haven’t had major issues getting parts from for engines is Caterpillar and there has been issues. I think the supply shortages are just now showing in a lot of things.

It finally happened. I caved. I don't have any confidence I will get my Bronco in the next 6-12 months, but that's perfectly okay. I am not even upset with Ford because I know they would take my money and give me my Bronco if they could.

That being said, this is a positive post! I just bought a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro in Lunar Rock! I know I will get some hate, but that's okay. I am going to have an awesome truck to tide me over! And if the Bronco takes me long enough, I will own both! Either way, I really want to see if the Bronco is all it's cracked up to be and if the right move is to flip the Taco, I will.

I only have a couple crappy pics from the dealer website, but I will update the post with more when I pick the truck up Saturday!

P.S. I am not leaving the forum.
You sir have made a grown man post and a grown man decision. Nice to read someone taking a pragmatic look at this. Pretty rare here.

I've always liked Taco's. My Coworker has a super nice one. Great color on yours.
No worries, your entire thought process is solid. Enjoy it and when your Bronco is ready, make your decision then. Hell keep both and make your neighbors jealous. LOL.

No hate. Everyone’s patience has a limit and we all have different individual needs. Have fun out there.

Any reason why you didn’t go with a gladiator? Atleast with that you’d be able to drop the top and doors. Congrats on the new truck either way.
Honestly, not a huge Gladiator fan. Some builds look super cool, but they just aren't for me. Also, if I were to go with another Jeep (which almost happened), I knew there was no hope of me ever getting a Bronco. I never would have sold it, and I probably would have hated myself for it. I love my current Jeep, but it's time for a change.

On top of all of that, I love the color of the Tacoma and the dang things just don't lose value!

Damn, that's rare. Every dealer in Utah marks up TRD Pro anything $4-6k.
I called every dealer I could find with a Lunar Rock TRD Pro listed and the majority had them marked up $10-15k over. It's getting ridiculous out there!
