I installed some led tail lights, the old ones were the oem halogen bulbed. Now I have the hyper flashing issue in the instrument cluster only. Tail lights work fine. I been seeing 2 options to fix this. 1 is adding a resistor to the Tail lights - I've done this to my 16 f150, worked great. Option #2 is adding a hyper flash relay. This seems to be the easiest (perhaps not best?) option, and is the route I'd like to go. Since I don't really want to cut into my new Tail lights harness. Question is, does anybody know what relay I would need, and where to stick it in? Giggidy. I bought the oem looking led Tail lights from alibaba. I know shut up. They look and work great (cant tell the difference) - aside for the turn signals occasionally going into hyper flash mode. Thanks!
