Hi. New member here in Ohio. I picked up my 2023 big bend hard top 2.3 today. I ordered it two months ago so I guess that isn't bad. My daughter ordered a big bend sas package the next day an they came at the same time.

I kinda did things backwards. I ordered mine then started reading everything. If I backed out they would have sold it tomorrow so it wasn't a big deal. Looking back I may have gone with the 2.7 but that ship has sailed. I had a 2019 Ranger for 3 years 8 months so I'm familiar with the powertrain (Yes I know the trans is slightly different). I've found lots of good info on here. My truck was tuned an IMO it was quick for a four cyl truck. It was putting down 0-60 an qtr times my 97 cobra did (before I added the Kenny Bell blower). I've been hauling more people than stuff lately an it was time for a change.

Welcome! I gotta wonder what the race would look like between a 2.7l Bronco that has roughly the same HP and TQ as a mid 90's Corvette

I blow those away at every stoplight !

the intimidation caused by 40s spinning next to them is probably overwhelming too, ROFL

I've read about you build. You half cabbed it I think. aI helped my Grandpa restore a 69 Bronco back in the nineties when I was in high school. I loved it best with the halfcab. It was willed to me, but because of some family drama it was sold before the will was read. $900! I always wondered what happened to it. Was beautiful. My Grandpa painted Can Am, Indy and all kinds of other race cars in the 60's-80's. We put a 351 Clevland from a wrecked Pantera in it. I learned a lot of cuss words when he was fitting that in there! Hope it's still going somewhere.

Dig your build!

Have a good one
