Howdy from Texas, y’all!

My husband and I recently finished restoring a 1970 Bronco. It took us around two years to complete the frame-off restoration, but now we are ready to add a NEW Bronco to our Ford fleet!

We ordered an Area 51, 4-door, 2.3, Black Diamond, mid-package, optional wheels, with an MIC top on January 31st. It was the color I wanted from the get-go, until Antimatter Blue came around…And then left again. Lol.

I’m sorry to keep reading such negative information regarding those who are reservation holders. I hope y’all get your Broncos soon!

For those who placed orders *without* a reservation, how long did it take for you to receive a build date? I don’t expect our Bronco to be built anytime soon, but I’m just curious how long it took for y’all to find out. I was thinking it’d probably be a year to a year and a half before ours got built (before the most recent chip shortage announcement), but I was just wanting to get an idea for a timeframe until finding out the build date. Do you find out the build date just a couple of months before it’s built?

Yeah, I agree. It seems like so many people without reservations seem to be getting their Broncos sooner. That’s why I’m wondering what their time frames have looked like.

Waiting is definitely going to be hard to do but SO worth it. Here’s to hoping I don’t have to wait over 500 days like so many others here! Lol

I placed my order with the dealer on 11/2. My dealer reached out in January letting me know I had a build week of 2/14 (later got updated to build day of 2/16). I haven't received an update since late January and quite frankly, I'm scared to ask at this point. Welcome and good luck!

Wow! That quick build date is awesome, especially considering you have tow and lux! Sorry you haven’t gotten an update. Hopefully you’re not wrapped up in the chip shortage! You’re so, SO close!!

Howdy! Im also from Texas, live in Tennessee now. But I was a Nov 20 Order, and on Dec 9 I had the vin with a build date week of 1-31 which is pushed to next week due to chips. It really depends on allocation more than anything right now.

Thanks! So glad I listened to my husband when he said to go with Mags. When I’m wrong, I say I’m wrong. And he was right. Put some 32x11.50’s, and I love it!

You should check. Most of us in the 2/7, 2/14 weeks got bumped. Mostly only by 2 weeks but it will kill your worry (quick sad trombone moment, but anyway).

Howdy Texas! You can take the guy/gal out of Texas, but you can never take the Texas out of them!
