Id put money on them doing a good job on it. It would behoove you though to take it to somebody that specializes in paint correction if something doesn’t look right.
Will keep that in mind! Thanks. I have a local guy i can have look at it when it comes back.

I know this is off topic but I was disappointed in the paint job. Like the above said overspray in many places and blob defects in many places but mostly towards the bottoms and not noticeable. But the worst one was on the corner of the hood visible to the eye when the sun is out looked like a clump of tiny BB’s. It’s at the dealership supposedly getting fixed. Along with some other issues, droopy headliner and scrapped fender damage.
I had a paint booger in the front corner of my hood from the factory. Had it fixed at the dealership body shop and looks brand new. Manager said it was paint build up.

My shadow black didn’t sit long between being built and delivered, and wasn’t touched by the dealer, per my request. Still has its somewhat surprising share of defects, etching, etc. The clear seems “medium to soft” so far, but I’ve been letting it rest before fully correcting it and coating it. I’ll probably finally do it next week, not sure I can wait much longer.

"Paint" correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't all vehicles been 2 part, color coat-clear coat for like the past 40 years? And the reason that during repairs full panels need painted. So all the correction , and cleaning and waxing, polishing etc is all on the clear topcoat and not involving actual color underneath

Or don't they ClearCoat anymore? I never got into it and just used hardener in the colorcoat

BTW, there was a time when every Mercedes arriving at dealers needed bodywork.

Hello guys and gals! I’m looking at buying a wildtrak and wanted to know how well the paint corrects on the bronco. I unfortunately I haven’t had any come through out shop so I haven’t been able to test it on my own.

In all honesty I dont think many people will care about paint correction. These are offroad warriors not showroom floor high buffed gloss princesses! lol
