I have already installed 4 new 4" speakers in my Big Bend and have two 6.5s on my shelf waiting to be installed. I can easily get the 6.5 covers removed but to get to the 3 bolts ( I think 8mm) I need to get the panel off and I can't tell if it connected to the foot rest as well. Does anyone have a video/pictures/instructions to get the panel pulled off so you have full access to the 6.5 speakers. I have reviewed all the posts and Pickens videos but I don't see anything with detail on this. Thank you! I just don't want to break the plastic and have to wait for who knows how long to get another piece and pay hundreds of dollars.

remove the sill first, then work you way back. There are 2 bolts in the dead pedal on the driver side under the pad.

Thank you. Got them in. I did it just the the thread and put the Kickers in for replacement speakers. Much improved!

I installed the 4 Kickers too. What a massive improvement in sound!

Also, installing the 4 was extremely easy.

I do agree with the posts that the dash 4" makes the most difference but the back 4" and the 6.5" doors do improve the overall sound and I think worth the cost. The door speakers are very easy to connect with the 72-5602 connectors so there is no wiring. Most difficult thing is taking your time and making sure none of the plastic parts/clips break when removing them all. For less than $250 you can have a pretty good system that is a lot better than stock. Might add a sub in the summer but with the doors closed this winter it is plenty loud and very good clarity. Radio is not that great but the playing music through android auto brings the speakers alive.

Very nice! I'll do the 6.5 sometime in the coming months.
