I just did the Ford Performance Braptor hinge upgrade. I can tell a difference just in the way the door closes. Stock SAS tire with Bison Gear tailgate table (the best). I was getting constant clunk down dirt roads and now they are all gone!!

Curious, did you replace the body side hinge mounts that came with the kit?

I ran the DV8 Spare tire and accessory guard on my Badlands when I had it held a 37, and I had an ARB compressor and a Broaddict tailgate table. No issues, and I took that RIG off-road all the time.

The BRaptor is the Braptor, so no worries there. I have the same setup there as well, the ARB compressor and the tailgate table.

I did not. Same part number as a standard SAS. If you are non SAS I’m not sure.
Coolio. I didn't check part numbers, but it seemed to be the same geometry and unpainted, so I skipped it. Then I started to wonder if it was maybe higher strength steel or some slight geometry change that might be a little stiffer. Thanks!

AGS has a setup too. I went that route because I wanted the dual ARB compressor behind the spare. Not sure how much "extra" reinforcement it gives me though.

… ? Since you have a sas, did you have to trim the ‘carrier’ (edited not support) to get … the support.. around the tire carrier.

I read mix messages about it and had been awaiting my tire rotation.

If I recall correctly, believe I trimmed the carrier rather than the TG support.

Yes the carrier. Do you have a sas? Thought the Braptor and sas tire carrier are the same…. Mine is a 25 BL
And don’t need to be cut, but other trim levels do…

Yes, I trimmed the tire carrier not the new support panel. I just used a hacksaw blade and sanded it smooth. Only took a few minutes and I left the carrier on the tailgate. One less step.

Yes sir, I installed the FP support on a WT and had to trim the carrier. I just edit my first post above to include the FP instructions. The first one I got was cracked and FP sent me a replacement ASAP, which was great. Overall though, not sure I'd go this route again if I had to buy another.

Me either. Don’t want to cut the carrier and I picked up an Al sheet to cut bend my own support . Ford’s was so thin I laughed. But it’s cheaper to buy the kit.

I was expecting something a little more substantial, but it does include more stout hinges that also have light duty accessory attachment points for a dune flag or antenna or lights (6mm or 8mm I think). Probably not stout enough for a fuel can or such, though.
