I think you meant a Flathead, 351 windsor or 390 FE.... I'm willing to throw a FE in there with a 9" rear. Just need to have the Bronco long enough to blow up the motor and have Ford refuse service. Then you have to work with what you got!

When it comes time to put 40's on it.

As we can see 33/35's will get you pretty far, essentially Dana 44's front and rear.

Big dollar IFS/ bigger axle (like hammers cars run) vs. 3-link long arm SFA swap. How much do you want to spend ??

As far as engine, Godzilla swap would be the way I would go.

I’m just getting really excited for these trucks. My mind runs away with ideas sometimes. I can’t wait to use the truck as a fun daily. I can’t wait to dabble in some overlanding and finally I can’t wait to tear it down build it up and beat it to holy hell. I would’ve done it with a jeep but I have a thing for fords and I guess reliable well built cars in general.

I believe I saw somewhere a company that specializes in LS swaps is wanting to get a hold of the first one that someone LS'd so that they can make a kit. It'll probably be done on a hotrodding/offroading show I'd guess around late '21.

Carburetors are great and I have one on my racecar, but EFI is the way to go for a daily driver or even one that sits around a little bit. Ethanol fuels kill carbs in just a few years.
