I've towed a raceboat that totaled around 3000# including the trailer up and down country roads and interstate hills in WV. No issues. You could feel it but it didn't feel unsafe or struggling at all. Maneuverability in and out of the garage was very impressive with the short wheelbase.
Maybe someone will sell their stock bumper and flares that they took off and have laying around. Or use it as an excuse to buy an upgraded aftermarket setup and enjoy it more.
Can you post a pic of the damage? You might be able to take them to a bodyshop or powdercoat shop and have them fixed for less than $800, especially if you pay them cash.
I'm more of a Frank's Red Hot guy but everyone has their own flavor.
But in all seriousness, if you can't get ethanol free gas for your small engines or carbureted engines, then dump that in by the case. Otherwise I don't think there is much of a benefit in fuel injected engines. Just my 2 cents.
Guys, I know you don't want your brand new rig sitting out in the weather, but I highly doubt anything will be affected. Tires are good for at least 10 years, and all the rubber seals and plastic trim will be fine for longer than that sitting outside. All you have to do is take 15 minutes to...
Maybe. This was my first delay. I think I saw where they might be shut down for the week of 8/16 but I could be wrong... Getting delayed a couple weeks doesn't bother me. couple months would.
This makes it sound like the issue is the pedal rubbing against the return spring. Maybe the spring isn't seated properly. It very well could be air in the hydraulic system.
Edit, after watching your video, it is something different. Have the dealership take a look at it.
I'm paying $40K for a brand new vehicle and if I have any top issues, they better be covered under warranty. Having to buy a whole top in a few years will genuinely piss me off.
My 98 ranger has an aluminum hood. It sits outside year round in WV. It was great till last winter the clear coat came off. That's it. No bid deal at all since I never wash it or wax it either. I'm not worried at all about the aluminum panels other than for strength, but that shouldn't be too...
My dealer gave me a printout of the order. Up top it has a box for Priority Code: 99
EDIT: Today I got an email from Ford saying I'm scheduled for production. Guess I was wrong...?
