Hoss 3.0 vs Icon Inner tie rod boot

Hello,

i have a 2025 badlands, i just wrapped up a kings/camburg setup and icon tie rods install. I spent a better part of my day trying to get the icon boots to fit over the snout, even had the off road shop who was doing my alignment try.. no go.

anyone have any luck getting them to fit and how did you do it? before i got back to the stock FP ones.

I think the icon ones are the easiest to get on. They are slightly larger than most. I have a 74 weld rack housing and it makes it extra fun. Try using a heat gun and warming them up. That seems to help some.

i ended up giving up and tossing the oem ford ones it came with back on. now source the oem stock boot clamps, i was able to reuse one, the other one is mia :/
