High beams stopped working

Curious, the other day my high beams stopped working. They were fine for the last couple weeks, auto high beams worked and everything. Now they do not come on. Even when auto beams which on, they do not work. Low beams are fine.

I just picked this up 3 weeks ago, now I’m curious about the potential gremlins in this first edition

any thoughts.

You are outside of the factory 3yr/36k warranty. Did the FE come with an extended warranty at the time of purchase? If not, you might want to add one as you are concerned about other gremlins.

Hasn't done it in a while but for the first 6 or so months I owned my '22 my tailights would choose when they did and didn't want to work. Never had a problem with headlights/high beams but at least I could have seen when those weren't working instead of driving to work down the mountain highway in the dark getting honked at until I realized what was going on

Good point, I’m about three weeks out, I believe it’s October, I’m going to look now. I guess I need to make an appointment tonight to get it in.

Curious, I just went on the ford protect website and it looks like I can add the extended warranty. I assume I can just add it in from the website, right?

I’m thinking this is probably worth the $ to extend 3 yrs and basically 50k miles, it only has 9,300 right now, more coverage will be worth it.

Just keep in mind you can buy the Extended warranty from any place you want to.. so shop around. I think most have found places like Granger to be most competitive

I have noticed the automatic high lights are picky compared to other vehicles. Go out where it is pitch black and see if they work.
