So, I have tried to locate this information but well I can’t seem to do it. So I figure I would just ask, and take the heat. So my 23 heritage has which suspension and which tie rods? I know it doesn’t have stronger steering rack, transmission, transfer case, or gas tank skid plates. Just want to build it slightly with full protection and a winch is all. It will be an adventure machine more for maximum scenic and moderate trails with 90% of life on the road.

My basic list currently:
  • Winch carrier on capable bumper with 10k warn
  • Skids for trans, transfer, fuel tank, and rear struts.
  • Antirock sway bar
  • Aux switch install possible aftermarket
  • New air compressor.
  • Storage rack.
  • New brighter lights for back seat and storage.
  • Already have all other recovery gear from previous jeep.
Any help would be great.

Check out @RedWagon ’s 3 or so winch posts just prior to your first Heritage Club post.

For air compressor, I like the tailgate mount for under the spare tire option.

Full skids are available from Ford for about $800, good use of your FordPass Points when 25% off…

Too many accessory shops to name… let google be your guide… I’m tapped from purchase so accessorizing is not I’m my future 😆

You have the Hoss 2.0 suspension or Sasquatch with the Bilstein shocks. I don't know if there's a difference between the standard tie-rods on Hoss 1.0 vs 2.0 and no you don't get the upgraded steering rack and tie rods from the Hoss 3.0 variant. There's a few threads on switching it over and the programming involved so it's doable if it's something you need but at that point you should have held out for a '24.

As for the plate upgrades, as @JawnyBronco stated, I'd just fill in the gaps with Ford's offerings and if you need something stouter go aftermarket. The rest just search the site and see what meets your needs, plenty of threads individually on each to peruse. There's plenty of items out there to spend your money on, you might want to hit one of your favorite trails first and then see where it comes up short and put the money there.
