Drain it, flush the with soapy water, or just water, or just a little degreaser diluted with water... whatever you feel like, run some of that through the lines to make sure its clear, refill. Coolant isn't going to kill anything. If it happened to me i woujldn't even bother pulling the tank or lines or anything, other than what you have to do to drain the coolant prior to flushing the resorvoir... especially if no coolant has been pumped through the washer pump.

@nickyp1020, the procedures for removal and installation of the windshield washer reservoir, fender splash shield, washer hose coupling, and windshield washer pump are attached below.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this type of work, your dealer can certainly do it for you.

So i got my 4d badlands about 3 months ago. up to now no one has driven it other than me. I came home from a BAD day at work and needed to run errends. my girlfriend said that she would do them for me if she could drive my truck (somthing shes been begging to do) i was so tired so i just threw her the keys, in disbalef she comes back and had the following conversation with me.
"i topped you off with the green windshield stuff cuz you were low"

"yeah the green anti freeze stuff from the gas station"

turns out, its anti freeze. she put ANTI FREEZE IN MY F&&&&&& WINDSHILD WIPER TANK. SO this leaves me wondering, how do i fix this? can i fix this or do i just kill her?

I’m thinking it’s time for a new GF.

lol,out of all the problems this is by far nothing. If thats all my wife screwed up I would be happy. Its a container. Drain or siphon. Wash out. sorry,but this is just easy peasy stuff.

No big deal. Simpler solution if U don't feel like disconnecting anything & wasting a bunch of time:

1) Buy one of these (you'll use it for other things in the future anyway) https://www.harborfreight.com/multi-use-transfer-pump-63144.html

2) Pump out what U can, like ~90%

3) Add washer fluid to mostly emptied tank & squirt a pint out or so. It'll be fine.

4) Breathe in, breathe out... laugh

Ironically, now U got me thinkin abt savin money on the subzero pricey washer fluids... maybe I should just ADD a pint of some glycol-based antifreeze to the cheap $1.99 Big Lots blue water & see if it works up here in the frigid winters! Keepya posted... ;-)

Oooph. Glad there's some solid advice here for you. Stinks that she was trying to do something nice and seemingly excited to have "helped" you out. Hopefully you can laugh about it with her soon.

An inexpensive suction pump would possibly be an easier way to remove the antifreeze. The good news is that she didn't use blinker fluid.

DON'T EVER ADD BLINKER FLUID TO ANY OTHER RESERVOIR!!!!! IT WILL REACT BADLY. SEEN IT HAPPEN.

Drain. Run some dawn through it a couple times then refill and u should be good to go. The dawn will scrub the lines too.

Step 1, don’t blame your GF. Joking aside, it’s not a big deal at all. Drain it, clean it, refill it.
