23 Badlands, 2.7 with auto transmission: I’m hearing a scraping sound that’s coming from the front (not the wheels, further inboard) while in reverse. Frequency of scrape increases with speed; I don’t seem to hear it in drive just reverse.

No visible impacts and I know I haven’t landed hard on anything; I have gone through creeks a bunch. It almost sounds like a pebble stuck and contacting a rotating shaft but that doesn’t make sense why it isn’t noticeable when in drive, just reverse (once had such an issue on a brake disc on a BMW).

no discernible changes to drivability, and no warning lights anywhere.

(Hopefully) Video below reversing and driving at driveway speeds alongside the house to highlight the sound. Any ideas?

Problem solved: heat shield had moved and has been adjusted. No more sound.
