So I just took possession of my 2024 Black Diamond and I couldn't be happier with it so far. I loved the original Broncos when I was a kid and loved every subsequent model right up to when they were discontinued in '96. When I saw the newest release, I knew that I had to own one and the Bronco God's smiled at me and I was finally able to achieve a dream! I had ordered one from Ford in June and got a call from the salesman 2 weeks ago that Ford cancelled my order as they couldn't meet their orders before they had to change everything for the 2025s. I was more than a little disappointed because now I had to select from dealer stock. Well I had originally placed an order for a Big Bend Velocity Blue 2 door with manual transmission and while looking for something similar, we found that there were only two 2 door Broncos with manual transmissions left in Canada, my Black Diamond and another one somewhere in Manitoba. I had originally wanted the Big Bend with manual in order to keep the cost down and now I was forced to "settle" for the next package up but luckily for me that because of the Employee Pricing, my new ride came in at 300 less than my original order and I was able to get a colour that I liked better than the blue but didn't want to fork out the extra 600 for the Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat!!! Anyway, I'm really glad things worked out so well and I'm really loving this thing after 2 weeks of ownership!!! The only gripe I have about it is the lack of a paper owner's manual. I'm an old car guy and much prefer book in hand rather than trying to read it on a screen but progress stops for no man and I'm just looking at it as the cost of doing business. Anyway I'm sure there will be lots of questions to be asked as I'm learning new things about her everyday. I've also attached a picture of her with the doors and front part of the roof off the day after delivery!! It was a cool 14 °C (57 °F for you Yanks!!) But I didn't care my radiant ear to ear grin kept me warm. To sum up, I'm happy to be here and hope to be a part of all things Bronco for years to come! Cheers!
