Always thought naming vehicles and referring to them as “she” or otherwise was dumb. Similar to calling your dog your fur baby.

I named my Explorer Sport (Mandarin Gold) "The Pumpkin" because I thought it was pretentious to refer to her as "The Explorer". I have never named another one except my Datsun 240 Z was the "Z". Since I live alone and only have one vehicle she does not really need a name. If I ever get her she might get a name...... we shall see.
