Has anybody blacked out the roll bar?

I like the look of the classic bronco without the roll bar. Has anybody tried to black out the roll bars with either black vinyl or something similar to try to "hide" the roll bar as much as possible? Or is someone willing to take an existing top off 2 door in velocity blue picture and photoshop what I am thinking of?

I plan on getting my roll bars painted satin black when the weather gets a bit nicer, unless it is prohibitively expensive.

I think I may get some carbon fiber vinyl wrap (good quality stuff) and then wrap it in that., making sure any seams match up nicely.

Would love to know if this is DIY-able for the average person. Can't wait to see if anyone has done it. I want to recreate the @froncobronco almost exactly but I'll be working with a carbonized grey base color. If money wasn't an object it would all then be satin PPF wrapped.

Ive got a 2dr VB black diamond coming and was thinking of wrapping mine white since I plan to do a white side stripe. Might reconsider and do black after seeing this.

I have a white Bronco and have had the same thought. Im running satin black stripes and other things, and I think the cage would look great in the satin.....

I had my roll cage wrapped to match my hood and rear wrap material. This way my JTop Safari top blends in nicely without the lighter paint color showing between the fabric top and factory black trim around side windows.
