Hard Top Scratches

Folks,

I have a 2024 Bronco with a hard top ordered from the factory. I noticed some scratches at the top of the hard that are broad. This tells me I received them from the car wash I have frequented. Any recommendations on what I can used to take out those scratches/ protect the coating?

They have no coating hence the term molded in color

Best suggestion I have is try and smooth out any gouges and find a paint that matches or live with it and call it "character". Or you could have the whole top painted but then any future scratches will be even more noticable.

Be very careful what you do. I had seen a stain right off the delivery truck. Pointed it out to the salesman, explained the situation, and he said I'll make sure the detail guy doesn't touch it. Of course, the detail guy didn't listen, or didn't get the message.

The dark line is the stain. and you can see scratches from the detail guy trying to scrub it off. I would personally do nothing to your scratch. If it is real bad, i.e. has a hole in it and will let water in, replace the part.

Every Bronc comes with the sticker on the window. But not everyone gets the memo. Says it all. Soapy water and a sponge/wash mitt, by hand. It's not fiberglass.

I didn’t get that sticker on my window and now I have those scratches. Were you able to fix them??

Nope. I didn't try either. Did not want to make them worse.
