Anyone had a hard shift into reverse. As in it bangs into reverse. Has only happed 3 times if memory serves me. 3 yrs 18k miles 10spd auto. Not concerned since it’s infrequent. Not sure, may be shifting into reverse quickly from drive. Just asking.

Yep, not smooth and clunky, but feels more like the driveshaft linkage and not the transmission itself to me. But it’s conditional on how I engage it. Foot on brake stand still, not smooth. No foot on brake, it’s much better.

It’s usually shifting too quickly on Fords. My Bronco, ranger and 150 tremor all did or do it. All had the 10 speed.
I live on a somewhat busy street that I have to back into my driveway or no one will ever let me out. Aka, many times I have to make a quick lunge forward, dodge all the cars and back into the drive without getting hit. Sucks when backing in the trailer 😂
Anyway no other rides except the 10 speed do this and it’s only when it’s a quick forward then reverse

No. I suspect it’s like others have posted. Shifting too quickly or while still moving forward. Never pay attention. Just reminded suddenly when it happens.
