There are several versions of these, mine were with the side shooters. I pulled them off recently. Two reasons: they tensed to howl when mounted on the DV8 brackets; a biredd cop pulled me over for them not being covered, and it turns out that it is impossible to buy covers for them. The AuxBeams are marginally more expensive and a better product IMO.

Just got them. My kit had an amber lens cover and a cover.

I have 4 sets with side shooters on my Kubota RTV900 and they are fantastic in my 3 acres. Not a single problem with any of them.

Nice man. Just watched your vid. Was going to just do 2 of these for “ditch” lights since turning with my tinted windows is a constant guessing game.
…but now I’m thinking I like that 5 light roof mount. I have a rough country roof rack. Is that what you have on yours? It looks similar.

Just got a set installed over the weekend and love them so far. Cannot beat the price :) $90 with discount. Thanks to GroovyGeek for answers many of my questions.

I was not aware extra lights require covers, or does it depend on the jurisdiction and/or type of day the cop is having?

If I had to guess, I'd say it depends on the state and the "day" the cop is having.

I have the rough country pods on my Bronco with the Amber led backlight. Run them all the time without covers and amber lights on. Haven't had an issue yet "knock on wood".

Also have the Morimoto XRGB's that for about 4 months ran the DRL red. Passed hundreds of cops without issue until I ran by a cop going to get lunch who proceeded to tell me they are a "distraction". Mind you, he let me off with a warning, but still, it's not like they were flashing or in any way looked like a police vehicle. Yet I still see a Jeep near my work on occasion with his red halo's. Is what it is.

Just want to throw this on here... i was using 3 10amps aux switches for low/high/amber but the 10amps cannot handle high beam, fuse blown twice. I switched it to the 15amps and no issue the last few time i tested.
Per description in the manual: low is 65w and high is 95w
