Got my infotainment system into a weird mode

So I did something today on my infotainment system, and I don’t know how I did it and I don’t know how I can get it back and I did not take a photo of it

I pressed something on my screen and it brought up what seemed like a screensaver with the time of day and I think the outside temperature.

The radio kept playing , it did not shut anything off

Does anyone know what this mode is and how to get into it again? When I touched the screen, it went back to all the regular information that is in the infotainment system.

Sounds like you set it to the "Calm Screen". Settings > Display> Calm Screen. Or something like that.

don’t even know what that is. Did a search and nothing showed up. Is this in the online instruction manual?

Thanks guys! That is so cool. So I must have swiped right unintentionally when trying to press a soft button. It didn’t take much “swiping” to trigger it either. Can’t believe after 4 years of ownership that I hadn’t accidentally done that before

However my screen has a lot more info than @HeliPilot Is there a way to control the info. I also looked up “calm screen” in the online user manual and nothing showed up. Is the actual name of this mode something else?

Yes

You can also get to it in Sync Settings -> Display

You get Calm or Off as options there

You’re showing your CarPlay screen. My pic is the Ford Calm Screen.

That's the CarPlay widget screen. You can actually change which widgets are displayed.

For the completely blue screen, go to Settings > Display > Calm.

As was mentioned. You are in CarPlay. You get that screen by swiping to the right.

Ahhh the days of instant analog info and tactile buttons to change settings without even looking......new cars released with these features are commanding premium prices and waiting lists.

If you go in to the CarPlay settings on your iPhone, (under General settings) and you can choose the Apps and Widgets displayed.
You can then swipe left and right (in CarPlay) to view the various screens.
