GOAT mode for towing

I don't tow a lot, but I use Sport. The more aggressive shift points, both up and down, fit towing nicely, especially in hilly, curvy Colorado. I have noticed any difference in steering or braking

Baja mode for towing seems like a bad idea. You would need to take it out of 4WD and unlock the rear differential if you do use Baja. I think Sport mode is better for towing but putting it in 2WD would certainly be recommended.

Do any broncos ship with the tow mode? If you try and code it in with forscan it just makes the dash reboot whenever you select the mode.

i do not have tow mode available.

i just did a 900 mile trip @ 65-70 mph with a empty 6 x 10’ trailer.

I tried “Normal “ and got horrible mpg. 14 maybe. I suspect the Rpms were too low for the turbo to make good power.

On my return 900 miles i used “Sport” mode and got closer to 16.5 mpg.

Noticeably better power. Of course the overdrive gears are disabled in “Sport” mode which in my opinion is better for towing.

I tried this over the weekend towing a 2000 lb trailer. First in normal and got 15.8 mpg, towed just fine. On return trip, used Sport and got 13.5 mpg but it certainly had more power and more responsive. Was hoping for the mpg increase like you had.

Uphill? Downhill? Wind? I like Sport for towing just for the responsiveness and control on hills if nothing else.
