Is it though? Ford bean counters got rid of the base model for 2024, because they determined the money is out there to charge more. People are spending 50/60k on these vehicles, often mainly for the image.

I was thrilled with the initial 30k 2-door manual hardtop offering, but those days are gone. I feel like Bronco got hit with gentrification unfortunately. Will see what the future holds.

Read back over what I wrote again. Yes, the Bronco was, but look who walked in the door with us. Please know that you and I feel the same way and are saying the same thing.

Ford never thought those types would want a Bronco and when you think about it, they don’t. You read the whine threads just as I, and they irritate you just the same. Bronco is too crude basically.

Well, once that money gets thrown around, what is a company to do? Hell, a Wrangler Rubicon is now approaching $70K. Now how is that? Well, look at who buys them, it ain’t the wheelers my friend….

I have been trying to understand your tire carrier system. I can't find any specs on your websites. I have also called and emailed RTR with no luck. I know you guys are busy but can you please inform me as to what the RTR tire carrier's weight is? What it's weight carring capacity is in addition to the weight of the carrier itself?
Thanks in advance for the info. It will help us all build a well balanced wheeler.

Our RTR Spare Tire Carrier is constructed from 1.75-inch DOM steel tubing and includes machined 6061-T6 aluminum tailgate hinges to help assist with the added weight of a larger tire and the accessories you wish to add to your Carrier. Because of its construction, you are able to utilize up to a 37” wheel/tire combo, a full Jerry Can with our RTR Jerry Can Mount and a Hi-Lift Jack with the RTR Mount. Although our Carrier may support additional weight, we feel this list of add-ons we recommend in conjunction with the carrier is ideal to avoid stress on the Bronco’s body and to optimize your performance off road. The weight of this RTR Spare Tire Carrier is 54lbs.
