Might want to read what I said again.In all fairness he said that his front hub was broken... So how would one know driving without the CVs "hurt anything"
My belief in needing the shaft installed has come from 12+ years of reading how my Tacoma would need the half shafts installed to drive out. Now I wonder if that is true on current models or just older ones.
