After moving my two interior front sensors to the front of the winch in the Modular bumper my adaptive cruise control does not work. No warnings. The sensors do work on detecting obstacles and the lane assist works but no ACC. Any ideas on how to get this working?

What winch and mount setup are you using?

Per ford it’s not compatible. I also relocated the sensors there. I might need stiffer springs tho. The sensors go off when braking at stops signs when my wife drives.

This is the reason they say the winch isn’t compatible with Lux. As the other person said you’re blocking the patch antenna.

I have the stock Warn winch with the modular front bumper.
I will check that out. Thank you.
There are at least two options (maybe more?) that would make your chosen winch and bumper combination compatible with the LUX package ACC system, and that would be to replace the OEM winch mounting plate with either (1) the Rough Country Bronco high winch mount for the modular front bumper, or (2) the JCR Offroad Bronco winch plate for the modular front bumper. Both of those options work with the Warn winch, modular front bumper, and the ACC system without having to relocate the ACC sensor.

You could also relocate the ACC sensor behind the grill (there is at least one kit available for that), but user experience has been a little iffy. YMMV.

I realize it will cost you more money to buy another winch mount, but it will solve your ACC problem.

Thanks for the information. I will take a look at those mounts.

Glad to help. (y)

I hope you get the issue resolved. I will likely be doing something similar in the near future.

Unfortunately, Ford’s early winch accessory option did not follow its own Bronco Equipment Installation Guide’s recommendation to aftermarket vendors for avoiding infringing on the sensor filed of view zones for its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS (ADAS)

The Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of advanced driver-assist technologies is standard across the lineup, including Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking featuring Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning and Dynamic Brake Support, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, Auto High Beam Headlamps and a rearview camera. Available Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ technology includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane-Centering, Evasive Steering Assist and voice-activated touch screen navigation. Available Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 technology adds Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane-Centering and Speed Sign Recognition.
The Bronco Equipment Installation Guide (excerpt below) was developed for SEMA to benefit vendors developing aftermarket products, but the winch package had probably already been under development for a while or actually finalized by then. Anyway, that’s why they eventually added language in the Build & Price and accessories packages saying the factory winch accessory was not compatible with Broncos equipped with the LUX package, because it blocked the ACC sensor and a few of the parking sensors. 🤷‍♂️

Looking at this pic if yours relocate that cable that running right above the sensor. It doesn’t take much to mess with it.
