Front defrost/ a/c vent maps, schematics? Help!

Yeah sorry, wish I had a better idea. Unfortunately that’s like a black hole. And a lot of work to retrieve anything in it.

Any chance the workshop manual has a section on replacing the HVAC? Or does it just say... good luck, pilgrim?

Yeah. The first step is to remove the whole dash lol
But I can get you PDFs of all the steps needed if you want.

Is there a step missing to remove this center part? I’ve got all the screws out from the front but this doesn’t seem to want to move.

Did you get the 2 screws on both sides of that accessory ready location?

After that it’s just clips that hold it down.

It looks like the A pillar trim also blocks the dash trim from coming off?

If I have to take the whole A pillars off I’m done for now. Sheesh.

Yes, the A-pillar has to be removed.
