Found this cheap repair for my dropped door

First time I went to reinstall my door I dropped it and bent the corner. Instead of filing an insurance claim I just came across these. I got an email for 20% off accessories and used my ford pass points. Cost me a whopping $145 after tax. My plan is to have them painted to match before I install. Ill report back when they come in.

Good alternative to fixing the issue, but be mindful to touch up the paint to reduce the odds of rust forming, and make sure the plastic panel doesnt allow dirt and rocks to lodge behind it.

Post pictures when you get them on. I was thinking of doing something like a vinyl graphic on my lower doors since they already have a bunch of rock chips. This seems like a decent option.

Rust isnt an issue with an aluminum but its already been touched up just for looks. As far as debris getting behind it thatll be determined by where places the 3m tape. Hopefully they thought about that and its flush.

Vinyl will hide the paint vairation but youll still be able to see where its chipped.
