Going from 35” tires to 37” is just 2”. What’s the big deal? Only 6% more.

Mass increases by 35% going from GY 35s (52 lbs) to 70 lbs 37s. Mass moment of inertia (mass times distance squared) goes up another 11% on top of that. Scrub radius usually goes up for folks running less offset, like zero offset wheels. Maybe another 10-25%.

Significant numbers. Add all these effects and you easily get over 50% increase. While 30% increase from rack helps, it is not a huge increase.

Any updates on this? I performed the swap and programming myself on my 2021 Badlands non-Sasquatch using the VIN programming method. I have no issues or lights, however, I have not been impressed with the added power the 3.0 was supposed to give. I don’t recognize any increase in power when in slow technical offroad situations. The reason I upgraded is because I was tired of the 2.0 losing all assist in those situations. It seems the 3.0 doesn’t do any better. I don’t know if there is still some issue from needing to program in this roundabout way or if I just expected too much. For reference, I’m running 37” KM3s. The 3.0 internals were installed in Vasher’s Rock Rack housing.

Has anyone else gone through the upgrade and what is your opinion of the performance after doing so?
Thanks!
I noticed a significant improvement in parking lot maneuvering and turning the wheel when not moving on level dry ground. I didn't notice huge gains in the rocks, It's better, but not anything to write home about.
