Hi all,
I have been trying to figure out where the subwoofer amp gets the power from? Ignoring the power wire gauge, I am assuming the source has to be direct from battery. I have a 2023 with a working sub. However, i am trying to see if i can install a mini amplifier (match m5) with the power source that is powering the subwoofer amp in the glovebox.
Thanks in advance.

It's powered from the battery junction box up front. Sits next to the battery in the engine bay.

The M5 has a 30 amp max draw, as long as the Bronco sub amp fuse is 30A yer good to use factory wires in back panel.

What sub are you looking to go with?

I still need to find the sub. I don't see any subs in crutchfield that is 6-1/2 or 6-3/4 in that will fit in the enclosure with abt 300w RMS. So, not sure if i will go with kicker 8in or not yet that everyone recommends

Am assuming it is accessible next to the acm and i should be able to install the amp next to glove box like others have installed the key200. You dont happen to have a pic or anything do you? BTW, i have seen u tear apart ur bronco man. Thats crazy! Heh

Kicker has a 6-3/4 subwoofer that just about everyone is buying.

You want to tap into the power line that runs to the subwoofer? Or do you want to run a separate cable? Not sure exactly what you are trying to do.

The m5 has an output for subwoofer. So, i want to hookup the m5 with the harness to acm, and use existing wiring for the speakers. Then for sub, i want to use the m5 sub output possibly with a harness to the wire that is currently connected to the sub from acm and remove the factory amp. lastly, i want to tap into current power wire that is powering the factory sub amp to power the m5. i believe m5 harness comes with fuse attached to it.
Here is the amp detail if it helps:
