Anyone having an issue with Ford App? First it said my location dated December 31, 2017. Then oil life was at 0%. Now not reading oil. Saying error try again later?!?! This normal? Or a glitch. Or should I have my Bronco serviced. Only 400 miles. 2.3L automatic.

lol it does say 12/31/2017....but yeah, that's gotta be a bug since the update. It still has the right location for me, just not the right date/time.

as for oil life, I think I'm okay, still says 90%

I logged out and logged back in. And oil life is at 77%. Date not showing now. Guess it doesn’t read right if you stay logged in too long. Was logged in since April’s purchase.

Mine was really off. Only had Dec, no year, last updated, location or odometer reading in the Pass app. Luckily I have a script on my phone to send a refresh. All good now.

Since the screen shot mentioned it, I want to opine on the module recovery update. I don't know how many folks have seen posts about backordered modules, specifically the APIM. This update will help technicians recover the module if it were to lock up or have a software fault. Not 100% going to protect every one but it helps increase the chances it can be reprogrammed instead of "bricking". APIMs are on backorder due to the semiconductor shortages with no ETA.

If you're going in for service, having the latch recall done, make sure they do the module update. One word of caution, this update can take anywhere from an hour to half a day so talk to your service department and try to plan the appointment where you can leave for the day.
